Pile caps - reinforcing cages being completed..

Here you can just see the tops of four piles beneath each of these pile caps; you can get an idea of the scale by the size of the people - these are BIG pile caps. Note that the formwork for the pile cap concrete will be added later.

Here's the bottom steel for the reinforcing cage for another pile cap being laid out.


Piling rigs.

The southern end of the site - two piling rigs are being used.


Site of the new squash courts and gym.

Here's a view of the 'other' site in Endsleigh Place; the University's new Fitness and Squash Centre will be built here. The north end of the site has been cleared for Phase 1 of the scheme; the remaining two houses at the southern end of the site will eventually be demolished to enable Phase 2 to be built.
