Student is runner up in NCE Graduate Awards.

Steven Little, a graduate from the Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering at the University of Plymouth, was delighted to come runner up in this years New Civil Engineer National Graduate Awards.

The awards are to acknowledge the best all round graduates to emerge from universities last year. Steven won £500 and a bottle of champagne.

Steven said "I found the BEng/MEng course enormously good fun, and challenging; its diversity of subjects, the interdisciplinary components and the opportunity to study on extended projects all contributed to me coming runner up in the 2001 competition".

Dr Clive Williams, Head of School of Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Plymouth said "Steven was an excellent student at Plymouth and he now has a very good job at Thorbum Colquhoun. This is the second year in a row that the School has produced the runner up in the National Competition; next year: first prize !".
