Research
My research interests are related to coastal and offshore hydrodynamic phenomena. I am primarily interested in theoretical and numerical predictions and interpretations of processes involving waves and currents. I use field and lab measurements for validation of quantitative work on one hand and to provide inspiration for new developments on the other hand. I enjoy the challenges and stimulation of collaborating with others in multi-disciplinary research.

Specific areas of present research interests are nearshore wave transformation, wave-current interaction, wave-structure interaction, long-wave oscillations in harbours and algorithm development for lab and field applications.

Member of CERG (Coastal Engineering Research Group).
