Senior Technician - Hydraulics; Coastal Engineering.

Secretary - Hydraulics Laboratory Management Group.

Teaching and Research
A significant proportion of my work involves operating and maintaining the School's two Hydraulics Laboratories, one of which houses a computer controlled absorbing wave generator installed in a 20m long x 2m wide x 1m deep flume. I also provide technical support to students and research staff.

I have been involved in all of the School's recent "Water" research projects - including the MAST-funded COAST 3D projects at Egmond ann Zee and Teignmouth.

Other Activities
Motorcycling - especially older bikes.

Live music - roadie and sound engineer for a local band.

Driving - member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Climbing, caving and potholing - qualified as a Level 1 Rope Access technician.
