I am the Programme Manager for the MEng/BEng Civil Engineering programmes and also the Sandwich Course Tutor, looking after students working for 12 months in Industry.

1966: BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering, London University.

1975: Chartered Engineer, CEng.

1975: Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, MICE.

1963 - 64: Sandwich Course Student, Highways Department, City Engineers Department, Plymouth.

1966 - 67: Site Engineer, City Engineers Department, Plymouth.

1967 - 75: Design / Construction Engineer, Project Leader, Australian Federal Department of Works, Melbourne, Australia.

1975 - date: Senior Lecturer, School of Civil and Structural Engineering, Plymouth.

Teaching
My teaching in the School of Civil and Structural Engineering includes Construction Materials, Structural Analysis and Design, and Surveying.
