Melvin A. (Mel) Nyman who is a Professor of Mathematics & Computer Science at Alma College has brought groups of Alma students to study at the CTM for short periods of time on several occasions. John Berry has visited Alma to team-teach modelling courses with Mel on two occasions
Ted Graham is working with Ian Cohen, a lecturer in mechanics based in Stockholm. They are creating a website which will offer a basic course in mechanics. The website will be interactive and provide notes, examples and exercises with solutions. The course is designed to benefit potential university students and can be studied by them prior to starting university to boost their knowledge of mechanics.
