Student Information and Representation
This course is a subset of the Plymouth based BSc(Hons) Mechanical Design and Manufacture course.
Information, including the Programme Specification, expected learning outcomes, book lists and syllabii is available from the 'Index to Online Documentation', under the heading 'Information for BSc(Hons) Students'. Click on 'Course Handbook' or 'Module records', for syllabii.

Formal student involvement in the course is via course committee meetings, normally held once in the autumn term and once in the spring term, where student representatives can raise issues formally and receive reports on progress with any unresolved issues.

We would emphasize however that if students have any concerns, they should speak to the distance learning tutor, Miggy Singh, or the relevant module leader or the DHoS, David Grieve, as soon as possible, rather than wait for a formal meeting. Our experience is that most problems can be quickly resolved via this informal route.

Students based on this scheme should check this web page for dates of course committee meetings and inform the visiting tutor, Miggy Singh, or David Grieve, if they want any issue put on the agenda. Representatives from all partner college groups are invited and welcome to attend.
