The Half Quartet: Monday night residents at the
Quayside (Plymouth Barbican)
When Plymouth Pavilions suggest their
credit/debit/posted
cheque charges are "competitive within the region", do push for details of
their reference points. I have compared their £2/ticket with
Plymouth Theatre Royal,
Hall for Cornwall
and Bristol Colston Hall and
found them to be far from competitive! A response from the Marketing Manager
at the Pavilions stated that
"our comparisons are conducted on a national basis across venues similar to
the Pavilions, rather than local theatres and smaller venues where any
comparison would be unrealistic"! How often do you travel to London
for an evening of entertainment?!
