The Index To Theses is "a comprehensive listing of theses with abstracts accepted for higher degrees by universities in Great Britain and Ireland since 1716".  There were "461,960 theses" in the collection when updated on 5 November 2004.

Access to Index to Theses is restricted to IP addresses at the subscribing institution.  The University of Plymouth is a subscribing institution and hence the abstract should be available from any UoP intranet terminal.
