ACMC has a dedicated laboratory for polymer composites processing,
which includes:
- Aeroform autoclave (400°C, 14 bar)
- Aeroform Hot Bonder composite repair control system
- Bipel/Bytec 40 tonne hydraulic press with hot platens up to 400°C
- Plastech Hypaject RTM injection machine and mould heater power supply
- Vacuum, microwave and conventional ovens
- Various contact, autoclave and RTM tools
We work primarily with polyester and epoxy resin
systems, and are particularly experienced in manufacture with prepreg, RTM and vacuum
resin infusion.
