Manufacturing Processes - MFRG 317 - Home Page

1. Introduction
This module will continue and complement the previous studies, covering a number of manufacturing processes. The emphasis is mainly upon metals but plastics are also considered.

2. Assessment
Assessment will be by a combination of course work (30%) and examination (70%).

Powder Processing and Polymers Read the appropriate chapters in references 2 and / or 3 below.

Notes on Mohr's circle for stress analysis.
