Hi, there are three main areas to this site, my interests
outside research, my research
and some resources linked to the teaching
that I do here at the University of Plymouth.
I've been connected with the University of Plymouth for about 6 years
now. I was initially a student on their B.Eng. (Hons) Manufacturing Systems
Engineering degree course, from which I graduated with a 2:1 (Hons).
Since graduating I've worked as a Production Engineer as part of the
Teaching Company Scheme. This gave me experience working with industry in
an academic setting. Since then I've been with the MABS group carrying out
research in to the development of manufacturing systems redesign methdologies.
My current role is as a Research Assistant developing a software based
learning environment for SMEs and business units of larger organisations
to learn about Process Based Change. We are developing a CD-ROM that contains
the learning material and a User Interest Group that is helping with validation
and testing of the tools that are included.
