ButlerBot is an idea of Peter White interpreted by Guido Bugmann and realised with the help of the Robot Club of the University of Plymouth.

Initial drawing

CAD version: See animation MOV 6MB

Prototype: See the initial displacements of the prototype MOV 5.8 MB

Butlerbot will serve drinks and snacks at receptions.

Butlerbot detects collisions through a deformation of its body.  It is very light and flexible (see videos above).
